“The Safe Haven Program provides fully furnished, ready-to-live-in homes for women and children escaping domestic violence. Each safe haven is designed to give children a sense of stability, safety, and normalcy during an otherwise traumatic and uncertain time. Providing these basics means families can focus on healing and rebuilding, rather than worrying about how to manage day-to-day survival tasks. $1000 will support us to purchase some of the household necessities that we struggle to get donated in good condition. In practical terms, the grant turns a house into a functional, welcoming home, ready for children to feel secure and cared for from day one.”
